Saurabh Nathany

Saurabh is Of Counsel of White Summers, Caffee & James, LLP, heads the Dallas, Texas office, and leads the India practice.

As a startup lawyer, Saurabh represents high growth tech-startups and founders advising them on angel and venture financing, private securities offerings, entry into the U.S., partnership structuring, cross-border corporate restructuring, exits, and day to day general corporate governance matters. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Saurabh was with Inventus Law working closely with founders based in India and the U.S.

Additionally, Saurabh has been a corporate lawyer for more than a decade advising companies and founders in relation to M&A transactions, inbound and outbound investments into and from India, commercial joint ventures, entity formation and structuring, and commercial contracts. As an in-house attorney at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Saurabh was responsible for managing conflict, facilitating risk management compliance, and driving contracts and transactions to closure.

Aside of work, Saurabh co-manages TiE Dallas Angels where startups pitch before a group of angels every other month in Dallas, Texas; he also speaks with and writes for the New Founder School and the Founder Institute; and runs his own blog Startup Soundbytes.

Saurabh earned his Master in Laws from Northwestern University School of Law, a Certificate in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management, Chicago (2013), and a J.D. equivalent from Symbiosis Law School, India (2005). Saurabh is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, India.
