Edward Carney

Edward Carney possesses extensive leadership experience across various organizations and sectors. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at WhiteStar Communications, Inc. since August 2019, Carney also holds the position of Director on the Board of MCNC, where the focus is on connecting educational and health institutions throughout North Carolina. Previous roles include Chairman of the Board at the General Hugh Shelton Leadership Center, Principal at RE-WIRED for now, and CEO of Qualia Networks, Inc. Carney successfully led a significant capital campaign for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, raising $10 million. Additionally, Carney has contributed to product development as EVP at Extreme Networks and provided advisory support to a governor-elect's transition team. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and Executive Education in Business and Technology from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
