Mark Gibson

Mark Gibson is the Chief Operations Officer at Whitfield County Schools. Prior to their current position, Gibson held the position of Audit Manager at East Sussex County Council from January 1997 to January 2001. From January 1990 to January 1997, they were the Audit Manager at London Borough of Merton and was responsible for managing a team of contract auditors as well as undertaking special projects including a major business process re-engineering assignment. From January 1988 to January 1989, Gibson worked as the Group Accountant (technical) at London Borough of Hackney and was involved in the grant regime and technical work related to government funding and initiatives. Mark also undertook special project work on performance indicators. From January 1983 to January 1988, they worked as the Assistant Group Accountant at London Borough of Tower Hamlets. From May 2012 to September 2012, Gibson worked as a Consultant on a freelance basis.

Mark Gibson's educational career began at Sheffield University, where they earned a BA Honours in Business Studies. Mark then attended St Clement Danes Grammar School and West London Institute.
