Peter Zarifes

Peter Zarifes has a strong background in wealth management and has held several prominent roles throughout their career. Peter started out as a Principal at Desmond, Marcello & Amster from 1990 to 1999. Peter then moved on to Bessemer Trust, where they served as a Managing Director for twelve years from 1999 to 2011. Currently, they are the Managing Director/Director of Wealth Management at Whittier Trust Company, the oldest and largest privately-owned multi-family office in the Western United States. In this role, Peter provides holistic wealth management services to individuals, their families, and their private foundations, including investment management, fiduciary services, family office support, philanthropy, and direct investments in energy and real estate.

Peter Zarifes obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College between 1982 and 1985. Later, from 1988 to 1990, they pursued their Master of Business Administration with a focus on General Management and Finance at Harvard Business School.
