Richard Tozer

Richard Tozer is the VP of Performance Reporting & Analytics at Whittier Trust. Richard has over 20 years of experience in finance and staffing solutions.

Richard started their career as a Staffing Manager at Ajilon Finance Solutions where they were responsible for sourcing and recruiting finance-related positions. Richard was successful in placing candidates within 1-4 days of the job requisition and had a retention rate of over 80%. Richard was recognized as the “Employee of the Month” among 60 area Account Executives during their first year of employment.

In 1999, Richard joined National Planning Corporation (NPC) as a Product Manager. Richard was responsible for developing and managing investment products and services for NPC’s clients. During their five years at NPC, they successfully launched two new products and increased assets under management by $1 billion.

In 2004, Richard left NPC to join Whittier Trust as the VP of Performance Reporting & Analytics. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Whittier Trust’s performance reporting and analytics infrastructure. Under their leadership, Whittier Trust has become a leading provider of performance reporting and analytics services to the financial services industry.

Richard Tozer's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis, as well as certification from the CFA Institute in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM).

Richard Tozer reports to David Dahl, CEO. They work with James Baer - CTO, Liam J. McGuinness - EVP & CFO.
