Jose Herrera

Jose Herrera is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in production and maintenance. Currently serving as a Production and Maintenance Engineer at Wholesome Sweeteners since June 2015, Jose provides technical support for the company’s food co-manufacturing and warehouse facility, focusing on new project design, construction, and equipment efficiency improvements. Prior to this, Jose held the position of Director of Maintenance and Engineer at BLENCOR, LLC. from October 2009 to March 2013, where responsibilities included planning operations for ammonia facilities and high technology production equipment, as well as supporting new product development and training operational personnel. Jose also briefly worked as a Plant Engineer at CADECO Industries in 2008. Jose holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, obtained between 1988 and 1993.
