Chrystal U Louis M.D., Mph

Chrystal U Louis, MD, MPH, currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at TScan Therapeutics since April 2024 and is a member of the Boardroom Ready 2022 Cohort at Women In Bio. Previously, Louis held the position of Senior Vice President of Clinical Development at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals from November 2022 to April 2024 and served as Vice President, Head of Medical Affairs at CRISPR Therapeutics until November 2022. Additional experience includes Executive Director roles in US Medical Affairs for Myeloid Diseases and Oncology at both Bristol Myers Squibb and Celgene, where Louis led initiatives for several key oncology products. Louis has a longstanding academic background as an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine, focusing on immunotherapy research. Educational credentials include an MD from Tulane University School of Medicine, an MPH in Health Systems Management from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and dual bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Government, as well as Chemistry, from Southwestern University.
