Jon Janes

Jon Janes has an extensive career in the field of news broadcasting. Jon started as a Statehouse Bureau Reporter/Chief for KWWL TV in 1976 before becoming the News Director for KAAL-TV ABC 6 News in 1978. Jon then served as the News Director for KFVS-TV from 1981 to 1984. From 1984 to 1986, they worked as the Assistant News Director for KSDK-TV NewsChannel 5. Jon then held the position of News Director for KWQC and WHO TV from 1986 to 1989. Jon Janes worked as the Executive Producer All News Channel for Hubbard Broadcasting Inc. from 1989 to 1991. Jon was then the Corporate News Director for News-Press Co. from 1991 to 1993. Following that, they served as the News Director for KOAT TV from 1993 to 1996. Jon then worked as the News Director for KSPR TV from 1996 to 1999, and finally as the News Director for WIBW TV from 1999.
