Zac Peterson

Zac Peterson is a highly experienced professional with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. In 2012, Zac founded zacp.xyz, where they operated a server cluster and data center for a high school robotics team. Zac also hosted web and email services for paid clients and developed software tools and programs.

From 2017 to 2020, Zac worked at Rapid POS as a Solutions Architect. In this role, they managed network and server infrastructure for numerous clients, performed software maintenance and installation of information systems, and led the migration of customers to the Azure cloud platform. Zac was also responsible for database administration, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing training and support to customers.

Starting in 2019, Zac worked as a Computer Science Tutor at Saddleback College, providing support and guidance to students in the field of computer science.

From 2020 to 2023, Zac joined Redapt, Inc. as a Cloud Engineer and later became a Managed Services Practice Lead. In these roles, they designed and maintained cloud infrastructure for clients, built and managed environments in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud using automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, and developed CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment.

Currently, Zac is employed at Wickfire as a Senior Devops Engineer, where they focus on DevOps initiatives and strategies.

Zac Peterson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at California State University, Fullerton from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science at Saddleback College from 2018 to 2020. In addition to their academic qualifications, Zac obtained the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google in February 2022, and the Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator certification from Microsoft in September 2021.
