Sameer Sahoo

Sameer Sahoo, CPSM®, has a robust work experience spanning over several reputable companies. Sameer started their career at Mahindra & Mahindra as a Materials Manager before moving to Tata Motors as a Vendor Development Manager. Subsequently, they held various roles at Cummins Inc., including Senior Manager in Sourcing, Executive Manager in Global Sourcing, and APAC Project Manager in Supplier Management. Most recently, they worked at Halliburton as a Sourcing Lead in Global Sourcing Solutions and at Eaton as a Category Lead in GSC - CoE. Currently, they are the Head of Strategic and Global Sourcing at WIKA Group handling operations in IPO - India. Throughout their career, Sameer has demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, cost reduction, supplier management, and global procurement strategies.

Sameer Sahoo, CPSM®, holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University (2003-2007) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations Management from The ICFAI University, Tripura (completed in 2013). In 2023-2024, they attended the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, focusing on Organizational Leadership. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®) certification from the Institute for Supply Management in 2019.
