Karoline Ulleland Hoel

Karoline Ulleland Hoel is a Senior Lawyer at Wikborg Rein's Oslo office and she is a part of the firm's Asset Management and Financial Regulatory Practice.

Karoline has solid experience in assisting leading Norwegian and international asset managers and private equity clients within a wide range of matters. She inter alia provides advice on fund establishment (Private Equity and Venture Capital) and other investment structures (including drafting of agreements and other legal documents, side letters, and negotiations with investors), on investments in Private Equity funds (due diligence with a focus on main terms and ESG, negotiations with managers, etc) and general counsel to clients on matters forming part of their day to day fund management business. Karoline has assisted in a range of (non-listed) Private Equity transactions and Venture Capital investments within different sectors, including health and life science, technology, real estate and industry. In addition to corporate legal matters, she also has experience with ESG and general corporate compliance (including drafting of routines and policies, risk assessments and risk-mitigating measures, as well as third party integrity due diligence).

Prior to working at Wikborg Rein, Karoline worked as Senior Compliance Officer at Statkraft and as a lawyer at the Law Firm BAHR.
