Jacek Woźniak

Jacek Woźniak has a strong background in software engineering and DevOps. Jacek is currently working at Fandom as a Principal DevOps Engineer, having joined the company in November 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Staff Software Engineer at Fandom from September 2020 to November 2022. Before joining Fandom, Jacek worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the company Wikia from October 2016 to September 2020.

Earlier in their career, Jacek worked at Google as a Senior Anti-Abuse Engineer and Tech Lead from May 2014 to May 2016. Jacek also has experience working as a Freelancer in 2016 and as a Software Engineering Manager, Senior Developer, and Developer at a company called CONTMAN Sp. z o.o. from 2002 to 2012. Jacek started their career as a Java Developer at BB-ITECH Edustrada in March 2001. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in various technologies and has worked in international environments with distributed teams.

Jacek Woźniak obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Intelligent Decision Support Systems from Poznan University of Technology, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications, including Helm Kubernetes Packaging Manager for Developers and DevOps from Udemy in 2022, AWS Security Essentials, Deploying to AWS with Ansible and Terraform, Managing AWS with Ansible, and AWS Essentials from Linux Academy in 2019. Jacek also holds a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from ScrumAlliance, obtained in 2012, and has completed a Machine Learning course from Stanford University through Coursera in 2016.
