Max Spector

Max Spector has a diverse work experience in the field of design and branding.

Max started their career at Chen Design Associates in 1999, where they held various roles over the years, including Designer, Senior Designer, Art Director & Senior Designer, and Design Director.

During their time at Chen Design Associates, they were responsible for team leadership, art direction, design, project management, and client relations. Max also played a significant role in evolving the agency's creative process and developed a "visual toolset" approach to brand identity systems. Additionally, they art directed a studio passion project that later became a published book and a museum exhibition.

In 2016, Max joined Fandom as a Senior Art Director and eventually worked their way up to Creative Director, Director of Brand Design, and their current position as Senior Director of Brand Design.

Max Spector graduated from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 1999, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Applied Art and Design.
