Thomas Churchill has a wealth of experience in the fields of education and media. From 2018 to present, they have served as the Director of Expert Content at wikiHow, where they direct the Notable Co-Author project and manages a team of 15 editors and contractors. Thomas also served as the Director of International Development at wikiHow, leading 18 non-english language sites and overseeing a team of 200+ translators, proofreaders, and site managers. Prior to that, they were a Digital Media Project Manager at wikiHow, managing a large team of digital content producers and innovating to create new educational media solutions. Thomas also worked as a Hiking Leader in Desolation Wilderness near Lake Tahoe, leading 3 hikes per week for adult guests of Stanford Sierra Camp. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Community Manager at Outdoor House, a Campus Tour Guide at Stanford University, a Kids Counselor at Stanford Sierra Conference Center, a Student Caller/Alumni Liaison at Ruffalo Noel Levitz, and an Activities Director at Stanford Pre-Collegiate Institutes.
Thomas Churchill graduated from Stanford University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Distinction in International Relations and Affairs. Thomas also participated in the Stanford Bing Overseas Studies Program in Berlin in 2016. In addition, they obtained a Wilderness First Aid (WFA) certification from BSA/BTS Wilderness First Aid Training in May 2018 and an Adult, Child, & Infant C.A.R.E. CPR Certification from American CPR Training in January 2017.
