Charlene Chen has extensive legal experience, most recently serving as Senior Principal Corporate Counsel at Wilbur-Ellis from April 2022 to March 2024, following roles as Corporate Counsel and Assistant Corporate Counsel within the same company. Founded as a fish-oil supplier in 1921 by Brayton Wilbur, Sr. and Floyd Ellis, this company markets and distributes agricultural and industrial products, animal feed, seeds, fertilizer and machinery. Wilbur-Ellis also provides consulting, pesticide management and other agriculture-related services. Through its Connell Brothers division, it markets and distributes industrial chemicals, minerals and food ingredients in the Pacific Rim. Brayton Wilbur's family continues to own the company.
