Matt Bracken

Matt Bracken is a dedicated conservationist and experienced leader in anti-poaching efforts and youth empowerment initiatives. As the Founder and President of the Wild & Free Foundation since October 2014, Matt has been instrumental in promoting wildlife preservation. In September 2016, Matt co-founded the Rhino Cup Champions League (RCCL), a program leveraging soccer to address pressing social issues in Africa, including poaching, teen pregnancy, school dropouts, and substance abuse. Prior experience includes serving as an Anti-Poaching Ranger for the Protrack Rhino Task Team from August 2011 to October 2014, and working as an Africa Safari Specialist for Travel Beyond from January 2005 to January 2011. Early career experience includes co-owning Holiday Fair Boat Charters from June 1989 to October 2004. Academic credentials include studies at St. Olaf College and Curtin University, along with a high school diploma from Orono Senior High School.
