Shruti Sharma

Shruti Sharma has extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry. Shruti started their career as a Trainee at Saudi Airlines, where they handled front office reservations and provided customer service to first-class passengers. Shruti then worked as a Travel Consultant at Kuoni Destination Management, where they handled group series and private charter business from the UK.

After that, Shruti joined Travel Corporation (India) Limited as an Assistant Manager, where they were responsible for business operations and preparing costings, itineraries, and proposals for clients from Russia and Scandinavia. Shruti then moved on to Yatra Online Pvt Ltd as a Deputy Manager, where they managed the domestic business division BYOP (Build Your Own Product), preparing tailor-made packages for clients.

Shruti then worked at Compass India Holidays Pvt. Ltd. as a General Manager, overseeing the sales department for inbound B2C business and generating online queries. Shruti then joined Sita India as a Manager, managing tour operations for clients from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as handling travel agents and tour operators from these countries.

Currently, Shruti holds the position of Head of Operations at Wild Voyager and its sister company Olgatuni Camp Ltd in Kenya. In this role, they oversee rate contracting with hotels and manages vendors and suppliers for India, international, Africa, Nordic countries, and Europe.

Prior to their career in the travel industry, Shruti worked as a Teaching Specialist for an unspecified company from 2006 to 2008. Overall, Shruti Sharma brings a wealth of experience in various roles within the travel and tourism field.

Shruti Sharma started their education journey at Summer Fields School in India, where they studied Business/Commerce from 1988 to 2000. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Delhi University from 2000 to 2003 and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree. During the same period, Shruti also pursued a 3 Year Proficiency in German Language from Max Muller High School in India, focusing on Germanic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management from 2003 to 2004, earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management with a specialization in Tourism and Travel Services Management.
