Yu Cheng Yao

Yu Cheng Yao currently serves as a MYP Math Teacher at Yokohama International School, utilizing the International Baccalaureate Curriculum in a middle school setting. With extensive experience in education, Yu has held various teaching and administrative roles, including a High School Math Teacher and Academic Administrator at Denver Public Schools, where support was provided to at-risk students and English language learners. Yu's expertise also encompasses wilderness medical training as an Assistant Instructor with Wilderness Medical Associates International. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Math and School Leadership from Concordia University-Portland, an Alternative Teacher License from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from National Dong Hwa University.
