Derek Abimana

Derek Abimana is an experienced financial professional with a background in accounts receivable and payable roles. Currently serving as an Accounts Receivable Specialist at the Wildlife Conservation Society since November 2018, Derek previously worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Loro Piana, where responsibilities included invoice processing and ensuring timely payments. Derek's foundational experience includes a role as an Accounting Intern with the University of Pittsburgh's Black Action Society, where a cash tracking system was developed and financial records were managed for club events. Derek began the career journey at Dunkin'​ as a Cashier Customer Service. Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, completed in 2018.
