Madeleine Thompson is an accomplished library and archives professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Director of Library and Archives at the Wildlife Conservation Society since January 2011, Madeleine has held various roles including Institutional Archivist and Librarian and Archivist. Prior experience includes a position as a Volunteer Cataloger at The Morgan Library & Museum, contributing to the cataloging of the Julia P. Wightman collection, and serving at The Lilly Library, Indiana University, as Assistant to the Head of Public Services and Reference Attendant. Madeleine has also been involved with the Victorian Studies journal as Book Review Editor and worked as an Associate Instructor in the English Department at Indiana University Bloomington. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in English and two Master's degrees, one in English and another in Library Science, all obtained from Indiana University Bloomington, along with a Bachelor's in English from the University of Arizona.
