Horace Liang

Horace Liang started their work experience in 2013 as a Pet Nutrition Consultant at CROSSMARK. Horace then worked as a Flight Crew member at Cathay Pacific Airways from 2014 to 2015. In 2016, Horace joined GENEWIZ as an Associate Scientist I and later became a Team Lead. Horace then worked at the University of California, San Francisco as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor, Deck Supervisor, and Staff Research Assistant II from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, Horace worked as a Contractor at ProClinical and then as a Senior Research Associate I at Gilead Sciences. In 2020, they became a Swim Instructor at PJCC - Peninsula Jewish Community Center and a Research Associate at Earli Inc. In 2021, they worked as a Private Swim Instructor while being self-employed. Currently, Horace is a Senior Research Associate at Wildtype, starting from February 2022.

Horace Liang obtained their Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Fish and Conservation Biology, with a focus on Marine Ecology, from the University of California, Davis. Horace attended this university from 2008 to 2013.

In 2012, Horace Liang studied Japanese Language and Literature at Kyoto Seika University for a brief period.

Apart from their formal education, Horace Liang also obtained additional certifications. In September 2021, they completed the TEFL/TESOL Certificate from ITTT - International TEFL & TESOL training.
