Michelle Baker

Michelle Baker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in administrative leadership within the education sector. Since March 2006, Michelle has served as the Senior Administrative Officer at Wilfrid Laurier University, where responsibilities include budget management, overseeing direct reports, liaising with external agencies, and space allocation to support efficient operations of the Faculty. Additionally, Michelle facilitated the development of the Additional Qualification (AQ) program and continues to manage it alongside the AQ Principal. Prior to this role, Michelle held the position of Manager at the OISE/UT Midwestern Centre from March 1996 to February 2006, where budget management, implementation of the AQ program, and revenue generation were key responsibilities. Michelle's academic foundation includes ongoing studies at Ontario Business College since 1991.
