Kelly Donnelly

Kelly Donnelly is currently the Engagement Manager at Willard Powell. Kelly has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on compliance.

Kelly started their career at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in October 2008 as a Vice President in the Private Wealth Management division. Kelly worked with high net worth individuals and families to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions. In this role, they developed and implemented customized investment plans, managed portfolios, and provided guidance on various financial matters such as estate planning, insurance, and taxation.

In June 2017, Kelly left Morgan Stanley to join The Private Wealth Partners as a Compliance Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing the compliance program for both the broker-dealer and investment advisory businesses. This included creating and implementing policies and procedures, conducting trade reviews and testing, and monitoring employee trading activity. Kelly also ran the compliance calendar and worked with various financial institutions to establish direct feeds for employee trading accounts.

Kelly’s experience in compliance has been invaluable in their current role as Engagement Manager at Willard Powell. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of client engagement, from initial intake through project delivery. Kelly works closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that they are receiving the best possible service from Willard Powell.

Kelly Donnelly reports to David McInnis, President & Founding Partner. They are on a team with Stewart Sloan - Partner & Sr. Engagement Manager, Caitlin Schellhorn - Research Associate, and Laurena Mitchell - Diversity & Inclusion Ambassador.
