Fares Ghanimah

Fares Ghanimah has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Fares started their career at Allstate Insurance as a Network Support Engineer from 1995 to 1997. Fares then worked at Efficient Market Services as a Senior Network Engineer from 1997 to 1999. After that, they joined Caremark | CVS, where they held various positions, including Project Leader and Technical Leader, from 1999 to 2004. At Harris Associates, Fares served as a Network & Server Manager, Manager of Application Development, and Director of Application Development and Support, contributing to the improvement of IT infrastructure and applications development. Fares then joined Calamos Investments as a Senior VP, Information Technology (CIO), and Head of IT and Business Intelligence, where they managed a $20M budget and led the transformation of the IT function. Fares is currently the Executive Director at WIT Mission, starting in 2020.

Fares Ghanimah holds an MBA degree with a focus on finance, business strategy, and international business from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Fares also has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Fares has obtained certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and as a FINRA Series 99 certified Operations Professional.
