Cheri Yuanlu Jia has gained a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Cheri Yuanlu began as a Social Media Manager and Videographer for Broadway China Entertainment Holding Limited in 2018. Cheri Yuanlu then worked as an Assistant to an Executive Producer at Alibaba Pictures Group Limited, followed by a role as an Assistant Art Curator for Carole Davenport's Japanese Art. In 2020, Cheri worked as a Second Assistant Director at China Central Television (CCTV-6). Cheri Yuanlu then had the opportunity to serve as a TV Studio Teaching Assistant at New York University Tisch School of the Arts from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Screening Intern at the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (International Emmy Awards) in 2022. Cheri's roles also include being a Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Casting Director, Editor, AD, and Script Supervisor at New York University. More recently, they worked as a Digital Content Creator at Xiaohongshu, and is currently a Rotating Assistant in Brand Partnerships at WME (William Morris Endeavor).
