Velma Tauriainen

Velma Tauriainen, PMP, CSM, MSETM, is an experienced IT Project Manager and Business System Analyst with a robust track record in project management and business consulting. Currently serving as a Business System Analyst and Measurement Team Lead at Williams since May 2012, Velma also holds the title of IT Project Manager IV. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Project Manager at MetLife from March 2006 to May 2012, and as Senior IT Project Manager at First Data Corporation from 1994 to 2005. Velma’s career began in customer service at USAA from 1990 to 1994 and in new accounts at Local America Bank from 1987 to 1990. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management from Oklahoma State University, a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northeastern State University, and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Tulsa Community College.
