Kate brings more than ten years of accounting and financial due diligence experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Kate has advised clients on corporate and private equity due diligence, as well as a variety of technical accounting matters, including inventory accounting, lease accounting, initial public offering readiness, SEC Reporting, audit preparedness, and policies and procedures.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Kate was a Manager at EY LLP where she spent more than four years serving private equity and corporate clients in the Transaction Advisory Services practice. Kate began her career in EY’s Boston4 Assurance practice, focusing on the software, technology and life science industries. After joining the Transaction Advisory Services practice, Kate focused on buy-side financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, as well as carve-out transactions. Her client experience includes domestic and international private equity firms, large private companies, inbound international investments, and emerging growth companies in the manufacturing, medical devices, retail and consumer products, software and technology, advertising, oil and gas, patient care, research and development, and construction/supply industries. Kate’s divestiture experience includes a $6.1 billion carve-out of subsidiary financial statements pursuant to divestment.

Kate is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Master of Science in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in accounting from Boston College, where she graduated magna cum laude.
