Wes Getman

Wes brings 25 years of experience serving middle-market, private-equity backed companies and public company clients undergoing significant change events. Wes has substantial experience with both technology and software companies, as well as manufacturing and service businesses. His primary focus is delivering complex accounting solutions in connection with IPO readiness, SEC reporting, stock compensation, debt and equity accounting, ICFR implementations, revenue recognition and lease accounting. Wes is passionate about assisting clients to successfully navigate complex, event driven changes that are a result of growth and capital market transactions.

Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Wes was the Vice President of Accounting & Finance at Blue Bird Corporation for five years. He joined Blue Bird after providing them accounting advisory services as a Managing Director with a predecessor firm. Wes assisted Blue Bird through a reverse merger into a publicly-traded special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) and successfully led Blue Bird through its first ICFR audit. He brings WilliamsMarston a depth of technical accounting expertise and unique perspective developed from his experience in professional services coupled with his industry experience at a middle-market company that underwent transformative change.

Prior to WilliamsMarston and Blue Bird, Wes spent 16 years in public accounting at PwC, RSM, and Grant Thornton where he was an audit partner at the last two firms.

Wes received his Bachelor of Science in Management from the State University of New York at Geneseo and his MBA from the Simon School at the University of Rochester. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
