John Pokorny

John Pokorny currently serves as a Patrol Lieutenant with Williamson County since October 2021. With extensive experience in emergency services, John has been a Firefighter/EMT since August 2002 and previously held positions including Sergeant at the Williamson County Texas Sheriffs Office and Detective at Williamson County. John's earlier roles include various firefighting positions within a Volunteer Fire Department and a Public Safety Officer at Alcoa. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Executive Management from Northwestern University and training from the School of Police Staff and Command. Additionally, John has completed Emergency Medical Technician training at Temple College.
