Marcelo Melo Linck

Marcelo Melo Linck has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Marcelo currently works at WillowTree as a Director, Engineering Lead II, where they manage and leads a large international program consisting of multi-disciplinary teams and is responsible for solution architecture engagements. Prior to that, they worked as a Director, Engineering Lead I at WillowTree, spearheading cross-company R&D programs and leading multiple projects with different teams and stacks.

Before joining WillowTree, Marcelo worked at Poatek, where they served as a Director, Engineering Lead and Associate Partner, Senior Software Engineer. Marcelo led multiple projects focused on different markets and contributed as a software engineer across various projects. At Poatek, they also worked as a Platform Software Engineer, leading a project for a major client in the parking business.

Earlier in their career, Marcelo worked as a Researcher at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, where they researched performance improvements in Multiprocessor System-on-Chip (MPSoC) and worked with memory architectures. Marcelo also worked at Datacom as a Software and Hardware Engineer, developing embedded solutions for optical-network switches.

Marcelo's work experience also includes an internship as an IoT Software Engineer at Montana State University, where they developed an IoT solution for gunshot sound identification. Marcelo also worked at Dell as an Application Support Analyst.
