Kumar Gaurav

Kumar Gaurav has extensive work experience in finance technology and digital transformation. Kumar currently works as the Director of Finance Technology & Digital Transformation at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where their responsibilities include developing and implementing a digital transformation strategy for the finance function, improving efficiency and scalability through technology solutions, and leading cross-functional teams in digital initiatives. Prior to this role, Kumar worked for Perkins Coie LLP as a Senior Manager of Finance Digital Transformation, where they led the digital transformation team and managed the creation of automation products and custom websites. Kumar also worked as a Finance Technical Architect at Perkins Coie LLP, where they oversaw development teams, managed AI initiatives, and served as a Cognos BI Architect and Administrator. Earlier in their career, Kumar worked as a Sr. Programmer Analyst at Perkins Coie LLP, an Application Developer at Captaris, a Research Engineer at General Motors, a Service Executive and Franchisee Operation Manager at IFB, and a Research and Development Intern Engineer at Coral Telecom Ltd.

Kumar Gaurav completed their B.Tech degree in Electronics Instrumentation and Controls Engineering from Y.M.C.A Institute of Engineering from 1997 to 2001. Kumar then pursued an M.S degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) from the University of Mississippi from 2002 to 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Kumar Gaurav obtained the IBM Cognos Certified Developer certification from IBM in 2017. Kumar also holds several Microsoft certifications including MCTS - ASP.NET 3.5, MCTS - SQL Server 2008, Database Development, and MCTS - Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) 3.5. Additionally, they have certification in SQL 2008 Reporting Services from Bellevue College.
