Scott Learmonth

Scott Learmonth possesses extensive experience in the electrical engineering field, holding various positions focused on high voltage installations, maintenance, and testing across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Service Technician at Wilson Transformer Company since October 2019, Scott previously worked at Siemens as a Fitter and Electrical Fitter, where expertise in GIS installation was developed. Additional roles include time at ABB specializing in high voltage installation and commissioning, and as an Electrical Technician at Z-Tech Control Systems Ltd. Scott's background includes significant responsibilities in substation maintenance and fault finding as an HV Technician at Thames Water, along with diverse electrician roles at UGL Limited and Transfield Services, where skills in transformer installation and commissioning were sharpened. Scott earned a Level 4 Electrical Engineering degree from UCOL and completed NCEA Level 1 & 2 in Mathematics at Palmerston North Boys High School.
