Andrew Hansen has a diverse work experience in various positions. Andrew started their career as an SEO Strategist at Easterly from 2007 to 2008. Then, they worked as a Digital Strategist at Iron Horse Interactive from 2008 to 2012, where they collaborated with designers, developers, and clients to create customizable e-commerce buying guides. After that, they worked as a Digital Brand Manager at The Company of Others from 2012 to 2013, where they managed e-commerce account management and led a team of paid search, analytics, and design staff. Andrew also served as a Brand Strategy Consultant at Hansen Media from 2013 to 2014, advising clients in the United States and South Africa on brand strategies. From 2014 onwards, they held various roles in different companies, such as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer, including positions at Wilson Amplifiers, SignalBoosters, Bolton Technical, and Signal Boosters Canada. Most recently, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Techline Global, an in-building wireless distributor operating in multiple African countries. Additionally, they have also been involved as a non-profit advisor at baby moses baby sanctuary since 2012, assisting with email marketing and fundraising.

Andrew Hansen attended the University of Natal, where they pursued a degree in Social Science, although the exact start and end dates of their enrollment are unknown. In 2007, they later enrolled at HCC, where they completed their studies in English literature, earning a degree in that field in 2010.
