Juan Manuel Espejo Barrios

Juan Manuel Espejo Barrios has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Juan Manuel started their career in 2008 as the Director of Exportations at PIZANO, where they successfully introduced new market research methods and expanded the company's client base in Central America and Venezuela. In 2013, they became the Commercial and Administrative Manager at Importadora de Materiales El Compadre, where they achieved the company's goals, negotiated and reduced debt with suppliers, and implemented a wood panel transformation line. Juan Manuel then worked as an independent entrepreneur at Dura Edge Colombia SAS from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Norventas as the Distribution Channel Coordinator, where they effectively managed a wholesale distribution channel and achieved a 7% growth in sales. Currently, they hold the position of Export Manager CALA (Caribbean and Latin America) at Wilsonart, a global leader in manufacturing and distribution of engineered surfaces. In this role, they oversee export operations and expansion efforts in multiple countries.

Juan Manuel Espejo Barrios completed their education in two stages. From 1998 to 2003, they attended Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Design. Juan Manuel'sfield of study focused on industrial design and product development. Later, from 2006 to 2008, Juan Manuel enrolled at Universidad Externado de Colombia, where they pursued a degree in Marketing Management with a specialization in Market Research.
