James Roberts

James Roberts has an extensive work experience in the actuarial field. James is currently working as the Chief Actuary & Risk Officer at Wilton Re Bermuda since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Group Actuarial Reporting at Monument Re Group from September 2019 to May 2023. James also worked at Legal & General Reinsurance, where they served as the Head of Actuarial Reporting from June 2017 to August 2019, and as a Senior Reporting Actuary for a brief period in April 2017. Before joining Legal & General Reinsurance, James worked at Legal & General as a Financial Management Actuary from August 2012 to April 2017, and as a Financial Reporting Actuary from June 2011 to August 2012. James began their career as a Pensions Actuary at Aon from January 2001 to June 2011. Prior to that, they worked as an Actuarial Student at Lloyds TSB from November 1999 to December 2000.

James Roberts attended the University of York from 1996 to 1999, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Maths.
