Martin Clark has been a Governor since 2015 and became the Chair in 2018. He served for over 35 years in the Royal Air Force as an engineer officer, where he enjoyed working in a wide range of front-line and HQ jobs associated with large aircraft and fast jets, becoming the technical air safety regulator for Defence in 2012. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and of the Institute of Engineering and Technology; he is also President of the RAF Ice Hockey Association and an appointed trustee of Alabaré, a charity that provides care and support to vulnerable children and adults.
