🎮Walter Hill

Walter Hill has gained a range of work experience in the field of software engineering and game development. 🎮Walter began their career as a Technical Intern at The Leahy Center in 2016. In 2018, they worked as a Full Stack Programmer at The Leahy Center, where they assisted in developing in-house applications using Javascript, PHP, and MySQL.

In 2019, Walter took on two roles simultaneously. 🎮Walter worked as the Rad Jams Lead at Rad Magpie, where they focused on developing game development summer camps and game jams for high school students. 🎮Walter collaborated with a co-lead to create curriculum, manage logistics, track budgets, and set staff criteria. Additionally, they served as a Web Development Intern at Brandthropology, where they worked on client-facing website development and site content using bash scripting, Wordpress, PHP, and Google Analytics.

From 2017 to 2020, Walter worked at Champlain College, first as a Resident Assistant and then as a Game Architecture Lab Tutor. As a Resident Assistant, they provided assistance and support to students in a college residential environment. As a Game Architecture Lab Tutor, they helped students with their game development projects.

In 2020, Walter joined KingsIsle Entertainment as an Associate Software Engineer, where they gained experience in software engineering.

Currently, Walter holds the position of Associate Software Engineer at Wimo Games, Inc. 🎮Walter joined the company in 2021 and was promoted to the role of Associate Software Engineer II in February 2022.

Walter Hill obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Innovation with a minor in Game Programming from Champlain College. 🎮Walter attended Champlain College from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Gonzaga College High School and received their High School Diploma in 2016.
