Marco Ostanello has over 17 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Marco is currently working as a Sales Director at Windward since May 2020. Before that, they founded E.R.A. Networks in 2014, where they served as the Founder. In the same year, they also worked as the Director of Sales and Business Development at Idomoo until August 2014.
From 2011 to 2014, Marco worked at Starhome, first as a Global Account Manager, where they were responsible for key accounts at a global level and handled operational performance improvement and strategic direction for European Groups. Later, they served as the Regional Sales Manager, leading sales strategies and opportunities ownership across Southern Europe.
Prior to that, they worked at Tektronix from 2006 to 2010, initially as a Senior Systems Engineer, providing pre and post-sales technical support. Later, they became a Business Consultant, offering complex solutions for telecom operators. Marco also has extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing field trials and proofs of concept.
Beginning their career at Telecom Italia S.p.A. in 2003, Marco worked as a System Engineer, specializing in network assurance, fault management, security projects, and software development.
Throughout their career, Marco has demonstrated expertise in sales, business development, strategic direction, operational performance improvement, and complex solution design for telecom operators.
Marco Ostanello completed their Master of Business and Administration (MBA) degree from CUOA Business School from 2008 to 2009. In the same year, they also pursued a Master's degree in Business Economics from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2002, Marco obtained a Bachelor of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Systems, and Networks from the Università degli Studi di Padova.
