Irene Jimu

Irene Jimu joined Wine.com in 2016 with HR experience across 3 continents: Africa, Europe and the US. She partners with the leadership team to build a great work environment and culture that retains and attracts top talent. She’s worked to streamline HR operations’ processes and leverage HR systems as solutions for efficient HR service delivery and user experience as well as finding staffing solutions to meet the complexity of the business’ peak staffing needs. Irene was born in Zimbabwe, and lived in South Africa where she grew up and went to school. She graduated from the University of Limpopo where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management and an Honours degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She is also a certified senior HR professional through the Society of Human Resource Management.
