Paul Hangartner

Paul Hangartner has held various financial roles throughout their work experience. Paul served as the Chief Financial Officer at Wine-Searcher since May 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Assistant Financial Controller at Avis Budget Group from June 2019 to May 2020. Paul also served as the Financial Controller at Datamine from January 2019 to April 2019. Paul Hangartner's earlier experience includes positions at Air New Zealand, where they worked as a Commercial/Blockchain Manager from October 2016 to December 2018, an Accounting Manager from June 2013 to September 2016, and a Senior Business Analyst from May 2009 to May 2013. Before joining Air New Zealand, they were employed as a Financial Controller at Airbus from 2000 to 2009. Paul started their career as a Financial Analyst at Carter Holt Harvey in 1994 and worked there until 2000.

Paul Hangartner attended Wellington College from 1981 to 1984. From 1985 to 1987, they studied at Victoria University of Wellington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Accountancy. In 1999, they received the Chartered Accountant NZ certification from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
