Christian Panson

Christian Panson has had a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Christian started their career as the General Manager at Lazer-fare Media Services from January 2004 to January 2007, where they provided company leadership and oversaw day-to-day operations.

In 2007, they joined Winnipeg Free Press as the Manager of Technology and Business Improvements until December 2010. In this role, they guided the Applications team in delivering programmatic solutions and provided leadership and vision on business improvements. Christian was promoted to Director of Digital Product Development in December 2010 and held this position until July 2014. Reporting to the VP Digital, Christian was responsible for planning, design, and development processes for the Winnipeg Free Press Digital publishing division. Christian also managed a highly motivated team of designers and programmers.

Christian briefly worked at Canadian Tire as the Manager of CT Innovations from July 2014 to September 2014 before returning to Winnipeg Free Press. From September 2014 to November 2015, they served as the VP of Digital Content and Audience Revenue. Christian was then promoted to VP of Digital from November 2015 to January 2017. Finally, they held the position of VP of Digital & Technology from January 2017 onwards. Overall, Christian Panson's work experience highlights their expertise in digital technology, leadership, and strategic planning.

Christian Panson attended the University of Manitoba from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree with a focus on Architecture.
