We’ve built all of our technology in house including an EHR, patient care admin system, patient portal, website, marketing technology etc. Winona has two compounding pharmacies and a team of in house physicians providing world-class care via a fully vertically integrated business model.

About the role:

Winona is looking for a dynamic and motivated remote full-time Public Relations Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team. The Public Relations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of public relations initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation and promote its services within the healthcare industry.

Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, and communication materials.
  • Monitor media coverage, compile press clippings, and prepare reports.
  • Support coordination of media interviews, press conferences, and events
  • Manage and update media contact databases and distribution lists.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and media outlets.
  • Organize and maintain PR files, documents, and archives.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling and calendar management.
  • Research and identify suitable podcasts for Winona, coordinating outreach efforts.
  • Utilize Muck Rack to identify relevant journalists and assist in pitching.
  • Craft personalized pitches tailored to journalists, enhancing outreach effectiveness.
  • Track progress of podcast appearances and outreach efforts meticulously.
  • Research PR-related events and venues, contributing to event coordination.
  • Maintain comprehensive outreach efforts for bi-monthly reporting, compiling data.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in PR or Marketing.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages.
  • Experience working with media relations, including pitching and managing inquiries.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and tools.
  • Familiarity using ClickUp.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Background in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
  • Experience working in a PR/Marketing/Events agencies.
  • Experience organizing/mounting events.
