Karla Eppler has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations. Karla started as a Paramedic at Tri-State Ambulance Service in 1997 and worked there until 2008. Karla then joined Mayo Health System La Crosse as a Training Center Education Coordinator from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, they became the Director of Operations at Winona Area Ambulance Service, Inc, where they worked until 2018. In 2019, Karla joined Winona Health and initially served as a Senior Learning and Development Specialist before being promoted to the role of Director of Learning and Development.

Karla Eppler has a strong educational background in various fields. Karla pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 1989 to 1993. Following this, Karla obtained an Associate of Science degree in Paramedicine from Madison Area Technical College between 1995 and 1997. Karla'seducational journey continued as they completed their Master of Education degree with a focus on Professional Development at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 2003 to 2005.
