Sanjeeva Samarawira

Sanjeeva Samarawira has worked in various roles in the IT industry since 2013. Sanjeeva started their career as a Data Analyst at ShipXpress, a Kaleris company. During their time there, they were the product owner for a supply chain management system called car accounting, and they also held a team lead role. Sanjeeva then moved to GE Transportation, a Wabtec company in 2016, where they worked as a Data Operations Engineer. Here, they analyzed and cleansed large data sets on several Supply Chain Management systems and provided reliable stats and data visualization for management. Sanjeeva also worked in scrum teams on assignment for software engineering and QA work. In 2019, they joined Bileeta - Cloud Enterprising as an Associate Project Manager. During their time there, they managed ERP implementation teams and drove them to completions of 40+ SME's and large business projects. Sanjeeva also gathered requirements and implemented 10+ Shopify web stores to the local market. Finally, they currently work as a Product Manager at Wired2Perform\u00ae.

Sanjeeva Samarawira has an extensive educational background. Sanjeeva completed their high school education at St. Peter's College Colombo. Sanjeeva then went on to pursue a Diploma in Information & Communication Technology and a Diploma in Multimedia at Aquinas College of Higher Studies. Following this, they earned a Bachelor of Information Technology from Aquinas College of Higher Studies in 2014. In 2019, they completed their MBA, Master of Business Administration, with a focus in General from the University of Bedfordshire Business School. Additionally, they have several certifications, which include a Data Visualization & Dashboard Essentials certification from IBM, a Google Analytics for Beginners certification from Google, a How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit certification from LinkedIn, a Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap certification from LinkedIn, a Java Application Development using Java SE certification from the University of Colombo School of Computing, a Software Quality Assurance using Test Automation Frameworks certification from the University of Colombo School of Computing, and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification from Microsoft.
