Eric Ouyang is a skilled Battery Design Engineer currently with Wisconsin Racing, where notable achievements include designing a sheet metal accumulator chassis that minimized mass by 36.6% and running FEA analysis for subsystem components. Previous experience includes an internship at TSMC, where Eric utilized root cause analysis to resolve issues with EUV lithography machines, enhancing their availability and generating significant cost savings. As an undergraduate researcher at the UW Autonomous & Resilient Controls Laboratory, Eric developed a modular self-balancing two-wheel robot with advanced control systems and contributed to creating a custom ceiling mount for motion capture technology. Additionally, as a co-founder of Unload, Eric co-developed a patented automated storage system and was instrumental in creating frameworks for wireless powered robotic solutions. Eric is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, following a high school diploma from Edina Senior High School.
