Wisconsin Track Club is a competitive running club that encourages the participation of both students at UW-Madison and non-students, from novice runners to All-State athletes. We participate in meets throughout the Midwest at the NCAA and National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA) level.

Wisconsin Track Club was founded in 1991 to foster interests in the sports of track and field and cross country in the community and to provide athletes of all abilities with the chance to train and race together. The Club was not originally affiliated with the university but has since changed into a club sport at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Both undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to participate in NCAA DIII and NIRCA races for cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track around the Midwest. The Club has now been an official sports club of the university for 5 years as well as being members of USATF and NIRCA.

Wisconsin Track Club also fosters the interests of track and field in the community. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit meaning that the club is charitable and does not take in any profit. The club volunteers for many community events such as IRONMAN Wisconsin, RACE,  and the SubZero Race Series. Additionally, the club hosts the Summer Track Series each summer allowing all members of the community to participate in a series of track and field meets in the Madison area throughout the summer.
