Emily O'Brien

Emily O'Brien's work experience begins in 2014 with a role as a Team Supervisor at Cotton On Group. Emily then moved on to Bridgewater Apartments where they worked as a Front Office Receptionist, gaining valuable experience in conflict resolution, self-motivation, and a high level of responsibility.

In 2016, they joined Mantra Group as a Guest Service Agent before transitioning to Capri by Fraser as a Sales and Event Coordinator from 2017 to 2018. Emily then worked as an Event Planning Assistant and later as an Event Planning Manager at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 2019 to 2021.

In 2019, Emily also started their own small business called Planned It! as a Small Business Owner.

Most recently, they have been working at WISE Employment, starting as an Employment Consultant and progressing to In Work Support Consultant. Emily currently holds the role of Customer Employment Support Manager.

Emily O'Brien has an extensive education history. Emily completed their Bachelor of Education degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Southern Queensland, attending from 2020 to 2023. Prior to this, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Business with a focus on Event Management at Torrens University Australia from 2015 to 2017. Emily also briefly studied at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance. Before their tertiary education, they obtained a Certificate 3 in Dance from the Raw Dance Company in 2013. Emily completed their secondary education at Narrabri High School, where they completed Year 12 and received their Higher School Certificate from 2006 to 2011.
