Derek Funkhouser

Derek Funkhouser has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Derek currently holds the position of Director of Game Development at Wise Wizard Games LLC since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Game Development Manager at Skybound Entertainment starting from June 2019. Before venturing into the gaming industry, Derek worked as a Platoon Leader in the Delta Company, 1/11 ACR at Fort Irwin National Training Center from April 2014 to December 2014. Derek also gained experience as an Aide-de-Camp to the National Training Center Commanding General at the National Training Center Headquarters Staff from August 2009 to May 2013. Additionally, Derek has worked as an Organizational and Management Intern at Edgar County Highway Department from June 2009 to August 2012, and as a Librarian at Paris Carnegie Public Library from June 2007 to August 2012.
