Dalia El-Shimy

Dalia El-Shimy is a seasoned UX research professional with a robust background in academia and industry. Currently serving as the Director of UX Research at Wise, Dalia has previously held significant positions, including Head of UX Research at Miro and Senior UX Research Manager at Shopify, where contributions included leading buyer research and managing UX research teams. Dalia's academic experience includes roles as a guest lecturer and research assistant in Human-Computer Interaction at McGill University, complemented by a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction from the same institution, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Engineering from Queen's University.
