Zakaria Cherfaoui, Pharm.D.

Zakaria Cherfaoui, Pharm.D. has a diverse range of work experience. Zakaria is currently serving as the Head of Pharmaceutical AI Solutions at Wisecube, a position they have held since November 2019. In addition to this, they are also working as an International Consultant at STEM Healthcare, starting from the same time.

Zakaria has an extensive background in the pharmaceutical industry. From December 2013 to May 2023, they worked as the Technical Director of Interlabo. In this role, they were responsible for regulatory affairs management, including the preparation and submission of forms for new pharmaceutical products, registration of pharma products, homologation of medical devices, classification of food supplements, and validation of cosmetics. Zakaria also played a critical role in business development, prospecting for new clients and negotiating with international companies to represent Interlabo in Algeria.

Prior to these positions, Zakaria worked as a Healthcare Researcher at John Snow Labs from January 2016 to February 2019. Zakaria also served as the International Exhibitors Manager at GIANT Health Events for a brief period from April 2018 to July 2018.

Before their involvement in the pharmaceutical industry, Zakaria worked as the Virtual Main Manager of the Canadian e-commerce company Furnacefilterscanada.com from November 2012 to December 2014. In this role, they managed customer support, marketing campaigns (including Adwords, mailing campaigns, and Facebook ads), and bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.

Zakaria gained experience in the laboratory setting as well. Zakaria worked at the Laboratory of Bologhine Hospital from January 2013 to March 2013 as an internal staff member. Zakaria also served as a trainee at El Kendi Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Co from November 2012 to January 2013 and worked at the Laboratory of Birtraria Hospital as part of their role within Inter from October 2011 to September 2012.

Throughout their career, Zakaria has demonstrated a broad skill set and experience in various areas of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory affairs, business development, research, project management, and customer support.

Zakaria Cherfaoui, Pharm.D. obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Algiers University. Zakaria attended the university from 2007 to 2013, focusing on the field of Pharmacy.
